Our Story
I built this for my wife.
Every month it was the same. She would end up on the sofa with a heating pad, tethered to a wall socket, waiting for it to pass. Painkillers bought her an hour or two. Nothing she tried actually fitted around an ordinary day — work, cooking, leaving the house at all.
Watching someone you love hurt while you stand there with nothing useful to offer is a particular kind of helpless. I got tired of feeling it.
So I started reading. Heat therapy, massage, red light. Then I started building, badly at first. The early prototypes were too bulky, or too weak, or would not stay where I put them.
NuFemme is what came out of that. A belt she can wear under her clothes and forget about. Warm where it actually hurts, cordless, and quiet enough that nobody around her knows it is on.
It does not cure anything, and I will not pretend otherwise. What it does is mean the day no longer has to stop.
That was the whole point. Nobody should have to plan their life around period pain.
